01 / The Missing Link
Nobody teaches the program.
Baseball has a problem nobody in charge wants to name. Kids walk away from this game every year and when you ask them why, the answer is almost never the sport. It's the experience. The coach who never told them where they stood. The lineup that was decided before the season started. The dugout ordered to be loud. The arm nobody protected. The game stopped being fun. So they stopped.

The lineup was decided before the season
Coaches form their evaluations in the fall and then design the spring to confirm them. The players anointed early get the reps regardless of results. The players who outperform them never get a real sample, so they can never build a case. A lineup should be evidence. Not an opinion with a defense budget.
Conviction Two
The silence where coaching should be
Here is where you are. Here is why. Here is exactly what earns more. Three sentences. A player who hears them has a mission. A player who hears silence has a guess. Players always guess in the direction that damages them most.

Every framework in the doctrine is a performance argument. Honest evaluation fields the best team instead of the fall's opinion. Prepared, relaxed players outperform tight ones. Organic energy survives the sixth inning when commanded noise goes quiet. It is harder than what most programs do, not softer. Nobody ever had to choose between the trophy and the kid.
